God you see my affliction and wanderings, the pain and loss I’ve faced—the struggles that seem endless and bitterness that seem to linger like a bad taste. I continually remember, I feel the weight pressing down on me and dragging me low. But then I remind myself of this truth, and it keeps me from giving up: Your love, Lord, never runs out and never gives up. Your mercies never come to an end, they are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. You are faithful beyond what I can fathom. You are my portion, therefore I will hope in you. I will wait on you. God, you are all I need, you are more than enough—my only hope. You are good to those who seek you and wait upon you. I will hold on, trusting you will carry me through and move in my midst. Deal with me according to the abundance of your steadfast love. Because of your loving mercies, you will not abandon me in this mess forever and put an end to my despair and suffering. Thank you God for your deliverance, healing, and comfort.
